Last Day of School Tomorrow!

We had an amazing day today with a school-wide singalong and Activity Day! We made sure to look extra sharp in our shades :)

For our last day tomorrow, we'll share some memories, play games, finish our Visual Journals and have a little party. Thanks very much to families who are sending something in. Students are welcome to wear their pajamas if they wish!

It's been an excellent year full of wonder and learning, and it has been an honour to teach these students, I know they'll go far.

Zoo Trip

We had a fantastic time at the Calgary Zoo, learning even more about butterflies and other small crawling and flying animals, and exploring the rest of the zoo! Here are some photos of our trip. Thanks very much to all the parent volunteers.

Activity Day Info UPDATED

Activity Day- Tuesday June 25^th

Next Tuesday, June 25^th we will be having our Activity Day. 

On Tuesday, June 25 at 9:00am we will be having a Sing Along in the gym. Students will be singing some of their favourite songs from the school year. It is dress Hawaiian day (no need to buy anything; students are invited to wear colourful clothing, we will be singing "Somewhere Over the Rainbow"). Families are welcome to attend!

We will spend the afternoon from 1:30-3:00 exploring different activities. As this is an outdoor event we ask that you come to school prepared for the weather. Please remember sunblock, hats, sunglasses and water bottles. The compound and surrounding fields will be turned into active centres where you can try out new activities. 

This year we are having a Hawaiian Theme to our Activity Day. If you would like to, come school in your best tropical clothing.

                                                                         

Trout Release

Dear Families,

In partnership with the Bow Habitat Station, we have been diligently raising Rainbow Trout

from eggs and they will finally be ready to live in the wild on June 14th. All Copperfield School
